Noparde Long Distance Gobo Projector Case Study: Outdoor Logo Projection for Restaurant Advertising and Nighttime Brand Visibility

In a competitive urban dining environment, restaurants need more than a traditional storefront sign to stand out after dark. Streets are filled with shop lights, vehicle headlights, window displays, and other advertising messages, making it difficult for a single brand to capture attention. For the restaurant brand MADE, Noparde delivered a long-distance LED projection solution that transformed nearby building surfaces and pavement into high-visibility advertising spaces.

This project used a Noparde long distance gobo projector to display the MADE logo, brand category, and promotional message in an outdoor street setting. The projected content included the MADE logo, “Burgers · Smoothies · Cafés,” and the French campaign message “REDÉCOUVREZ LE BURGER.” Instead of limiting the brand image to a fixed signboard, the projection extended the brand presence into the surrounding environment.

From the project photos, the projection can be seen clearly on two different surfaces: a high exterior building wall and the pedestrian pavement below. The wall projection created a large-format visual effect above the street, making the brand visible from a greater distance. The pavement projection placed the message directly in the path of pedestrians, helping attract attention from people walking past the restaurant area.

Key Challenge: Long-Distance Outdoor Projection

One of the key challenges in this project was projection distance. Outdoor advertising often requires the projector to be installed far away from the target surface due to building structure, street layout, or installation limitations. Noparde’s LED gobo projector was able to maintain strong brightness, clean logo edges, and readable text even across a long throw distance. This made it suitable for both vertical façade projection and downward street projection.

The result was a flexible and visually striking brand display. On the building wall, the MADE logo appeared like a modern illuminated billboard, giving the restaurant a premium nighttime presence. On the pavement, the projection worked as an interactive touchpoint, catching the attention of pedestrians before they reached the storefront. When people walked through the light, the projected message naturally became part of the street experience, increasing brand recall.

Compared with traditional outdoor signs, a Noparde outdoor logo projector offers several advantages. It does not require large physical advertising structures, and it can be installed with less impact on the building façade. The projected gobo can also be customized for different campaigns, seasonal promotions, new product launches, or event marketing. For restaurants and cafés, this means one projection system can support multiple marketing needs over time.

Another benefit is nighttime performance. Restaurants, bars, cafés, and retail stores often rely heavily on evening foot traffic. A bright and well-focused projection can make the business more noticeable during the exact hours when customers are deciding where to eat, drink, or shop. In this case, the cool blue-white projection contrasted strongly with the warm street lighting, helping the MADE brand stand out clearly in the surrounding environment.

Using Urban Surfaces as Advertising Space

Noparde’s solution also helped make use of underutilized urban surfaces. Blank walls, upper building areas, sidewalks, and nearby street zones can become powerful advertising spaces when paired with the right projection equipment. This is especially valuable in dense commercial streets where traditional signage space may be limited or restricted by local building rules.

For MADE, the projection did more than show a logo. It created a memorable visual identity in the night street scene. The large wall projection built long-range visibility, while the pavement projection supported close-range engagement. Together, they formed a complete outdoor branding experience that guided attention from a distance and reinforced the message at street level.

This case demonstrates how Noparde’s long-distance LED gobo projection technology can help restaurants and retail brands increase exposure, improve nighttime visibility, and create a stronger connection with pedestrians. With high brightness, precise image reproduction, and adaptable installation options, Noparde provides an effective solution for brands that want to turn ordinary outdoor spaces into impactful advertising media.
